Sarah found a champagne dress at Church Street Bridal in Lynchburg Va. The price was right and the fit was perfect. She decided to buy it and add a lace overlay.

Sammi wanted to use her mother’s dress for her rehearsal dinner. I restyled it into a top and pants outfit. Liz wanted to wear her mother’s wedding dress. It was 11 inches too big so we had to do some major reconstruction. She chose to remove the train and I added the appliqués to her [...]

This was a custom design. The bride choose a sweet lace to complement the antique dress that was repurposed for lining. The bodice was a soft habotai silk. The dress evolved over a long weekend when the bride was in town, visiting from Va Beach. It had buttons at the back and was simple but [...]

RaeAnn got a great deal at a bridal shop that was closing, but it was really big [...]

Maddi and Marilyn came to me from VA beach. Marilyn loved her dress but decided she wanted to add some tight fitting sleeves to enhance the princess feel of her dress. We also tightened up the bodice so the dress would stay up and hemmed it up a bit. Maddi accompanied Marilyn to her final dress [...]

Of course I wanted to design and make my own wedding dress, I started a number of prototypes but this was the one I ended up with.  Simple, cream colored with a renaissance feel The dress was in two parts  - the outer part was constructed from a vintage silk dress for the 1950's.  I [...]

Jenny's dress was a strapless silk 50's inspired creation.  She got it on a great sale and was super excited.  But also nervous because it was a heavy dress and she didn't want to have to keep pulling it up! I did a bust alteration to snug it up but we also decided to add [...]

Becca's dress had delicate mesh ruching on the bodice.  I altered the top to bring it in around the bust line. I hemmed the dress and added a one point bustle option.
