Wedding in the North Carolina Mountains

This was a custom design. The bride choose a sweet lace to complement the antique dress that was repurposed for lining. The bodice was a soft habotai silk.

The dress evolved over a long weekend when the bride was in town, visiting from Va Beach.

It had buttons at the back and was simple but elegant for a small family wedding in the mountains.

I did a few simple adjustments to the grooms jacket as well. It was a wedding with a small budget and the jacket was a thrifted find.

Some of the leftover fabric became a little dress for the daughter of the future.
