Cast of Dracula

Dracula, the classic story on stage. My design for this was very dark and gothic and featured a number of custom built pieces. This show has some excellent examples of my tailoring skills for men, and women.

Red cape
Dracula’s ensemble was black with subtle red shading. I created his cape out of a lightweight fabric that moved very dramatically. It was black but with a red shimmer in the fabric, the lining a red taffeta damask.
Women’s tailoring
Our Van Helsing was played by a very petite woman, she was dressed in tailored frock coat that I created for her by cutting down and re-tailoring a men’s overcoat.

Mina’s character wore a structured Victorian jacket with boning for shaping.
