This bride came to me for some last minutes adjustments. She was from out of town and a few days before the wedding she tried the dress and realized it was too big! We managed to squeeze a few fittings into her packed schedule before the wedding day.

We decided to add a corset to the interior of the dress for extra support. The interior corset gave a feeling of security that the strapless dress was going to stay put for all celebratory exuberance!

the original alteration specialist had not hemmed the dress just telling the bride to”kick your feet out and you will be fine”. Due to the stairs and other potential trip hazards at the ceremony location we decided it would be best to not rely on luck to avoid stepping on the dress and I hemmed the dress several inches in the front so that it just touched the floor.

Crisis averted!
For the reception getaway we added one bustle point to hold that beautiful train up and out of the way.
